Here's the van that the "vanlord," Gary Gallerie, lives in on Windward -

Sleeping in any vehicles at night at this location is illegal.  

We have reported Gallerie's extensive network of 15 or more vans rented at $300 a month for overnight lodging to the LAPD though have not heard anything back other than they are investigating.  The SM Mirror article and KNBC report seems to have established beyond doubt that the law is being broken on a nightly basis.
